Happy Anniversary

It is our 5 year anniversary today! I can't believe that it's been 5 years. I am so blessed to have an amazing husband and two wonderful children! God has been with us every step of our lives together and I am blessed to be with someone who loves and follows God's leading in his life. He is my best friend and biggest supporter!

For our anniversary he took me to get a manipedi. It was my first manicure since I got married 5 years ago and the first time I've gotten a pedicure. It was awesome. Then we went to go see The Proposal...appropriate and hilarious. I recommend it to anyone.

I can't wait to see what the next 5 years bring us! I love you Jer.

Cayman and Tucker

We were privileged Check Spellingto meet two little ones while we were in Ohio. We got to go and see Cayman and catch up with her family...it was great to see everyone! I think that we've been trying to make it work for us to see her for forever it seems like. I am so glad that our schedules finally worked before we will be moving. She is an amazing little lady with an amazing mama and daddy!
We also got to meet Tucker, my cousin Craig's little boy. He's a sweetie! I am sad that it will be so long before I get to see him again! Anyways...here's so cute shots...We let him and Hunter play together and it was adorable to see Hunter giving him kisses!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Jerry...a wonderful father, husband and friend...I love you!

Happy Father's Day dad....I love you. Thank you for always loving me and teaching me so much throughout my life. Thank you for leading by example in a good walk with Christ. I love you so much!

Happy Father's Day Dad Webb...I love you too! It has been amazing to get to know you more and more over the years...wow...I can't believe it has been years! You are a blessing and have so much love and wisdom to offer.

Happy Father's Day Grandpa Roe and Grandpa Goodwin...I love and miss you both. While we were in Ohio the boys got to go and place roses at the grandpa's graves. I know that they would have so much fun with the boys if they were here. I know that they are watching over them from Heaven and will see them again one day.

Trip to Ohio

We were able to go back to Ohio for a few days before we move. It was great to be there for Father's Day and to be all together with Jerry's family and mine. All that was missing was Jenny and Derrick..maybe sometime soon we can all be together! It has been too long.

While we were here we were able to see lots of friends and family which is great before our move to Missouri!! I was able to see Andrea and Robin which was a blessing because I didn't think we would have time to get together this past weekend.

We also had a cookout for Father's Day. My family and Jerry's family were able to come. Jerry got the guys their presents from the boys. He got them "come camp with me in Missouri" kits complete with tools, bug spray, fabreeze for when they come home smelly and freeze dried scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast that you just add water too! so funny.

We also got to spend time with the cousins and aunts and uncles. It was great.

We made smores and got to hang out around my parent's new fire box. It was a little dangerous at first..the rock were exploding and flying out of the fire...but there were no injuries. :) Hunter
enjoyed his graham crackers very much with a new hair do!

Kaiden made his own fun with a flashlight that he used as a telescope...thank goodness he didn't put the light end to his eye!

One of the last things we did was to go and see my Grandma at McDonald's. The boys love to go and visit her out there and see all of her coffee friends!

Vacation Bible School

Our theme this year for Bible school was Crocodile Dock. It was awesome. We had over 240 kids attend throughout the week and last I had heard in choir Wednesday night is that 7 had accepted Christ. How amazing and awesome is God!
Kaiden loved to go and we loved for him to go because he was so worn out that he took a nap everyday that week! This was the first time that Kaiden would get to sing and participate in the program. It was so cute! The church had Safari Steve come in and bring his animals and talk about God. He had everything from a rabbit to an owl to an alligator. The kids loved it. Kaiden however flipped through the Bible and hymnal in the pew for most of the show. We thought we would have to bribe him to go up on stage, but when Pastor Carol announced for the Red Turtles (his class name) to come up he ran to the stage! He didn't get all the motions and at the time he was shy and didn't sing out all the words, but it was so cute. We kept laughing because he was all over the place in between the songs...back playing on a boat, running up and down the stairs, trying to run out the choir doors. He certainly kept the helpers busy keeping him up there where he needed to be! Overall it was a good night!

Too funny not to post!

Miscellaneous

It is time for one of those miscellaneous posts. I have those random pictures that are too cute to pass up! Hope you enjoy!
I am still not sure how he made this work, but he really did almost fall asleep in the laundry basket!
Here he is with Daddy's cap and gown. He will have his own way too soon!

Dance Recital

This just illustrates one of the reasons why I need a little girl. I love the dance recitals and getting all dressed up! For now I will have to settle on going to watch my goddaughter's dance. Kylie did an awesome job! Here she is!

Landen's Birthday Party

We were able to go to our friend's Chad and Angela's son's one year birthday party! (Wow, that was a mouthful). The kids had a blast getting to play outside and Kaiden loved that it was a beach/fish theme and that there were goldfish served with lunch. Here are some of the kids pics from the party. Thanks for having us Angela...it was a blast! Can't believe our little guys are all grown up!

Kylie was keeping an eye on Hunter and helping him walk all over...whether he wanted the help or not.

It was so hot and the kids loved to get wet in the pool.

Fireproof

Our church had a great night planned. They offered a free dinner, a free movie and free childcare to couples. How could we say no to going?!?! We went with Josh and Melissa and were able to have a great night out. We had pasta and then watched the movie Fireproof. If you haven't seen the movie you need, married or not. It's an awesome movie with really bad acting in it! Despite the bad acting there are some moments that will make you roll on the floor laughing and some that will make you cry (if you are a crier like me) and a message that will really hit home! I recommend it to anyone if you haven't already gotten that vibe...here are a couple of pics from that night!
