Mix and NOT Match Night & WALKING!!!

On Wednesday night's our children's ministry has theme nights throughout the summer. Tonight...Mix and NOT Match night. I was at work, so I had Jerry get the kids ready. I have to say he did a pretty darn good job. I stopped by the church on my way home to snap these pictures. Kaiden looked the best!!! He wouldn't even take the gloves off the entire night. He is hilarious.

And here's a video of Hunter. He finally started to walk, and at times try to run all over the house. He started to take some steps the beginning of May but has been inconsistent and hard to catch on camera. Here is a really good video of him walking down the hall...I think he does pretty well considering he is wearing two different shoes! haha

Girl's Day Out

I was so excited...for my birthday/Mother's Day present my mom and I went out to spend the day together. First we went to get a massage at Clip Zone! It was heaven! I love getting massages. Then we went out shopping and spent entirely too much money, but had a blast doing it. It is amazing how time flies when you are out shopping....and only have gone to one store! I could spend hours and lots of money in New York and Co. If only I could go on What Not to Wear and they would let me spend my entire 5,000 dollars in there. That would be a dream come true! I couldn't have asked for a better day! Thanks mom. I love you!!! (and thanks dad too for coming to watch the boys! I love you too!)

Yeah, I am too tired to be more creative than that. He's doing great and getting so big. He's a pretty laid back kiddo, except when teething recently. He has also developed a high pitch squeal when he is mad or wants something. I am hoping that phase passes quickly! ;)

Here's Hunter's frame. Just like Kaiden's we have had pictures taken each month and here they are in his frame. It's amazing to see how they change and grow!

It's Party Time

We also had Hunter's birthday party on the 9th of May while everyone was in town. Needless to say it was a very busy day! I can't believe that Hunter is almost ONE!!! The year has gone by too fast. We had a Mickey Mouse party and he loved it! He thinks that Mickey is funny and likes to watch it with Kaiden, and amazingly enough in Kaiden's three years he has never had a Mickey party! It was great to be able to have family and friends come to see him. Here are some highlights!

Congrats Jerry!

Jerry graduated with his Master's of Divinity....finally! It's been a long three years, but it has come to an end...except for the two classes he has left to finish this summer, but those are minor compared to the last three years. We went to graduation and then had a cookout at our house with family and friends. It was great to see all of Jerry's hard work pay off. Here are some of the pics from that day!

Jerry Got Hooded!!!

Jerry had is hooding ceremony during chapel last Tuesday. I was able to take the day off of work and go with the boys. He was given the hood to represent his master's degree and he will wear this during commencement on the 9th. I am so exited for him and proud of all he has done. He has gotten his Master's during some crazy times in our life and he always amazed me at how he was able to get through it all and still be a dad and husband. Here are some highlights. I wish I could have gotten a clear picture of him getting the hood, but I will being trampled by Hunter at the time who was very loud and rambunctious during the ceremony.

11 months

So this post is a little delayed, but here is Hunter at 11 months. He will be one on the 15th of May. I am very excited and also saddened that he has grown up so fast! I think that he became one faster than Kaiden did! He is all over the place and wanting to walk so bad. We are getting ready for his party next weekend and I can't wait to see him dig into his cake! It will be much more entertaining than Kaiden's was, trust me! I will post party pics next week!
