St. James
We are officially here...we are trying to get settled. We have had some huge blessings from those in the church and in the community. I am hoping to get pictures posted soon but we still have no internet at home...I'm at the church now. More to come later! Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers throughout this process. I do have some job interviews this week so continued prayer would be great! Thanks!

Happy Fourth!
Happy Fourth! It was potentially our last fourth in Anderson. It was happy and sad. Sad that Jerry couldn't be here with the boys (he's in Missouri already workin' hard) but happy that my parents were able to come down here. Sad because we always have fun going out with friends and we will miss them, but happy because we will have new friends and traditions to set with the boys in Missouri. Ok. Enough of the sad/happy stuff...here are some of the pics from our 'redneck' fourth. We met in the At&t parking lot with Josh and Melissa and the kids. We were joined by our friend Abby, Melissa's mom the rest of her family. We ate a picnic meal out of the back of her van and there was even a table cloth spread out so that the kids could sit in there and eat while watching a movie and waiting for the fireworks to start. There was even a potty in the van for the kids!
We also set off alot of fireworks that Melissa and Josh had brought. The kids thought it was fun. The "big kids" even got in the action too.

At one point in time the boys (Kaleb and Kaiden) locked everyone out of Melissa's van. They had free reign and pushed every button in the van except the unlock button. Kaiden was running around playing with all the DVD's in the van he could find...mind you he is not allowed to touch them at home. Finally after twenty minutes or so, Kaleb pushed the right button and all was good.
We waited for forever for the fireworks to start. They didn't start until almost 10:40pm...way to long for all the kiddos. We watched them in the back of Josh's rental pick-up. It was fun, but they were over it by that point, and Hunter passed out around 9:30 and never got to see any of them!
Here are some other snap shots to enjoy...until next year!

Poor Baby
Hunter had to have surgery this past Monday. He, just like Kaiden, had to have his circumcision redone. As a mother I hate to put my boys through this but at least we have been able to have it done right after their first birthday's and they will hopefully not remember it first hand!
He was a trooper. He was charming everyone at the hospital before his surgery running around and playing. He kept trying to go behind the counter and help the secretaries work. He was laughing and giggling...having no idea what was coming. We went back and got him all dressed in his gown. So adorable!
After we talked to the doctors, the nurse came back to get him for surgery. Then the waiting game. They told us it would take about and hour....it took about 35-40 minutes. We spoke with the doctor. He said that everything went great and we could see him soon as he was in recovery. They paged us again with our little buzzer and took us back to see him. He was crying, but snuggled right down after he heard Jerry and myself.
Not too much longer he woke up and drank a bottle. After that we could take him home. He watched his Praise Baby DVD all the way home and only fussed once...not because of pain but because his movie was over and needed to be started again!
When we got home he got down and ran around the house playing like nothing had ever happened. He must have had some great meds. He did finally fall asleep and took a long nap!
Overall he has been doing great...better than Kaiden did. I hope that he continues to heal quickly and have no complications! Thanks for everyone's prayers!

Happy Anniversary

It is our 5 year anniversary today! I can't believe that it's been 5 years. I am so blessed to have an amazing husband and two wonderful children! God has been with us every step of our lives together and I am blessed to be with someone who loves and follows God's leading in his life. He is my best friend and biggest supporter!
For our anniversary he took me to get a manipedi. It was my first manicure since I got married 5 years ago and the first time I've gotten a pedicure. It was awesome. Then we went to go see The Proposal...appropriate and hilarious. I recommend it to anyone.
I can't wait to see what the next 5 years bring us! I love you Jer.

Cayman and Tucker
We were privileged
to meet two little ones while we were in Ohio. We got to go and see Cayman and catch up with her family...it was great to see everyone! I think that we've been trying to make it work for us to see her for forever it seems like. I am so glad that our schedules finally worked before we will be moving. She is an amazing little lady with an amazing mama and daddy!

We also got to meet Tucker, my cousin Craig's little boy. He's a sweetie! I am sad that it will be so long before I get to see him again! Anyways...here's so cute shots...We let him and Hunter play together and it was adorable to see Hunter giving him kisses!
Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day Jerry...a wonderful father, husband and friend...I love you!
Happy Father's Day dad....I love you. Thank you for always loving me and teaching me so much throughout my life. Thank you for leading by example in a good walk with Christ. I love you so much!
Happy Father's Day Dad Webb...I love you too! It has been amazing to get to know you more and more over the years...wow...I can't believe it has been years! You are a blessing and have so much love and wisdom to offer.
Happy Father's Day Grandpa Roe and Grandpa Goodwin...I love and miss you both. While we were in Ohio the boys got to go and place roses at the grandpa's graves. I know that they would have so much fun with the boys if they were here. I know that they are watching over them from Heaven and will see them again one day.

Trip to Ohio
We were able to go back to Ohio for a few days before we move. It was great to be there for Father's Day and to be all together with Jerry's family and mine. All that was missing was Jenny and Derrick..maybe sometime soon we can all be together! It has been too long.
While we were here we were able to see lots of friends and family which is great before our move to Missouri!! I was able to see Andrea and Robin which was a blessing because I didn't think we would have time to get together this past weekend.
We also had a cookout for Father's Day. My family and Jerry's family were able to come. Jerry got the guys their presents from the boys. He got them "come camp with me in Missouri" kits complete with tools, bug spray, fabreeze for when they come home smelly and freeze dried scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast that you just add water too! so funny.
We also got to spend time with the cousins and aunts and uncles. It was great.
We made smores and got to hang out around my parent's new fire box. It was a little dangerous at first..the rock were exploding and flying out of the fire...but there were no injuries. :) Hunter
enjoyed his graham crackers very much with a new hair do!

Vacation Bible School

Our theme this year for Bible school was Crocodile Dock. It was awesome. We had over 240 kids attend throughout the week and last I had heard in choir Wednesday night is that 7 had accepted Christ. How amazing and awesome is God!
Kaiden loved to go and we loved for him to go because he was so worn out that he took a nap everyday that week! This was the first time that Kaiden would get to sing and participate in the program. It was so cute! The church had Safari Steve come in and bring his animals and talk about God. He had everything from a rabbit to an owl to an alligator. The kids loved it. Kaiden however flipped through the Bible and hymnal in the pew for most of the show. We thought we would have to bribe him to go up on stage, but when Pastor Carol announced for the Red Turtles (his class name) to come up he ran to the stage! He didn't get all the motions and at the time he was shy and didn't sing out all the words, but it was so cute. We kept laughing because he was all over the place in between the songs...back playing on a boat, running up and down the stairs, trying to run out the choir doors. He certainly kept the helpers busy keeping him up there where he needed to be! Overall it was a good night!
