Rides, Rides, Rides

So here is the last of our State Fair adventures. Letting Kaiden ride rides! Can I tell you how crazy expensive ride tickets are now. When I was a kid you could get a bracelet and ride all day for like 6 bucks! Now the bracelets are like 20 dollars or more. That is crazy for one kid let alone more than on kid! Kaiden rode on a little roller coaster, a dinasour ride (which the twins went crazy over and my son just had this look on his face like 'seriously all this thing does is go around in circles...how boring!'), a car ride and a ride with tractors and trucks and stuff. I would have to say that my little dare devil loved the roller coaster the most. I don't even think that he was technically big enough to ride it by himself, but he just walked right on and sat with Kylie (who is also fearless. I later learned that she threw a fit that she couldn't ride the Vortex at Kings Island!) Anyways...I had better post the pics and go do paperwork before I fall asleep, so here ya go!

Here we are driving the car. He refused to look up at me for pictures!

He thought this ride was alright because he was with Kaleb and again, he got to drive something.

Here he is loving the roller coaster with Kylie who has her arms up.

I mean really...how cute is this. Daddy was so proud. He'll get a roller coaster buddy after all. (as I am not a fan of them!)

Dancing the Night Away

After we went fishing we got something to eat and then watched a concert on the free stage. The baby hated it!!!!! (see pics below) and Kaiden had a blast clapping and dancing the night away. Hunter got to have his first slow dance with a girl...Kylie, and Kaiden partnered up with Kelsey for the most hilarious video ever! Here's the proof.

Not so happy baby...just a little too loud for his taste.

A little happier Hunter dancing with Kylie. So cute!

Not the greatest pic ever, but here's the family at the fair! I love that the boys are both looking off in different directions. They need a bit more training on how to pose for picutres in this family! haha

OK...here is the moment you've been waiting for. Sorry it is side ways...if anyone knows how to rotate a video let me know, but for now you get the picture. I love it when Kelsey tries to kiss Kaiden and when Kaiden starts doing some strange clogging thing with his feet! Anyways...enjoy!

Gone Fishing

This is the first of probably three posts on our one night at the Indiana State Fair! I know...pathetic, but we have lots of pictures..go figure. Anyways...Kaiden got to go fishing for the first time. I know Grandpa Webb will be very proud of these pictures! I am not sure who had more fun, daddy or Kaiden because daddy is now talking about getting a fishing pole to take Kaiden out fishing again. I was impressed at how still Kaiden was and how patient. If you know my child you know he is always running from one thing to the next. He even helped put the fish back in the water...braver than his mother is! This is definately a daddy/son thing!

Here's what Hunter was doing while Kaiden was fishing. Just watching and taking it all in!

Here's daddy and Kaiden fishing together.

Here we are again..and you can see Kylie fishing next to them. She caught three fish!!!

Here's my fish guys!!!

Here's Kaiden putting the fish back in the water. These poor fish got caught and put back all day for I don't even know how many days! The poor fish, but it is definately better than not putting them back. I think we've found something that Kaiden loves to do, so daddy and grandpa will have to go on a fishing trip soon!

Hunter's Dedication

We can back up just a bit. We had the baby dedicated on August 3rd. It was great. We had him dedicated during the first service and we were the only ones that time. It made it a bit more special, at least for me. It was fun because the pastor's got to personalize it just a bit more to our family. It was also a lot of fun for us to have our family here and have everyone over to the house. It is always such a special time for us to let everyone know that we want to raise our boys to be men of faith. My prayer is that they will come to know God and how much Jesus loves them through the example that we as parents and others in our children's lives can show them. Here are some pictures from that morning and everyone who came out to support us!

Here we are with our best friends Josh and Melissa and their kids Kylie, Kaleb and Kelsey. They are the boys' Godparents and we are their kids Godparents.

This is my side of the family. (left to right) My Aunt Gail, Grandma Roe, Kaiden, Jerry, me, Hunter, cousin Krista, Mom and Dad.

Jerry's side of the family that was there...his Mom and Grandma. His dad couldn't be there, but we missed him lots!

Here are our good friends Chad and Angela and their little guy Landen. He was dedicated that day too in the second service! I'm sure that he and Hunter will be the best of friends! We were due one week apart, but the boys ended up being just shy of 3 weeks apart!
Here's the baby with his cake...he even got to lick some icing. He wasn't quite sure what was going on! haha

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream

So we decided to have a little family night tonight and spend some time together since our time together will soon become very scarce due to our crazy schedules we will have for the next year. Even worse than that will be time that Jerry and I will get to spend together. *sigh* So sad. But anyways, we went to the park to play and then to Fraizer's Dairy Maid to get some ice cream! Kaiden always wants it but never eats it because it is too cold. He asked for "red" so we got him strawberry. He refused to lick the ice cream, but finally decided he would eat some of mine off the spoon but he only wanted the "white" kind (I had chocolate and vanilla twist). After that he thought that he could eat the cone he had, but still wouldn't eat the ice cream. Oh well, we are thrilled that he finally ate some ice cream! Hopefully it will start a new trend for him. haha Anyways...here's the cone pic!
