Adjusting to life with three boys!

We are trying to adjust to life with three boys. Trying as it may be some days it is a true blessing that we do not want to take for granted. Rylan is getting so big. He was 9lbs. 4 oz. at 3 weeks and just over 21 inches long. He is doing well and we have discovered he loves to sleep on his belly...with close monitoring of course as it still makes me nervous! The other boys are loving preschool and daycare. Kaiden is in Pre-K now and he loves his teacher Ms. Sherri. She is amazing and I am so glad that he his in her class. Hunter is still learning how to be around Rylan, but he does love to give him kisses. I will always take kisses over hits! :) I am not looking forward to going back to work. I like to be at home and make dinner and be with my family in the evenings. Things will definately pick up as Jerry gets ready to kick off the school year with youth and as they are doing a Pumpkin Patch fundraiser for the youth the entire month of October!! I don't think that we will see him all that much. Kaiden will also be in soccer on Tuesday nights. I am hoping and praying that something can be worked out with my schedule at work so that I do not have to work evenings. We will see and I will have to trust that God has a plan for our family. I would go insane if I didn't trust in him!

Rylan is not a fan of his first bath!

Rylan is finally here!

We are happy to announce that Rylan James made his appearance on July 28th at 2:35pm. He was a whopping 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. He is the biggest boy yet! (Kaiden being 5lbs. 3 oz. and Hunter being 7 lbs. 13 oz. ) He is normally a very laid back baby unless getting his diaper changed or a bath. :) The boys are taking to him rather well. Kaiden is hitting a whiny adjustment phase or an I am 4 phase...not sure which yet. Hunter like to look at him and poke him. He will also try to bring him things when he is upset which is funny. I walked into the baby's room one day but Hunter had beat me to it and there were toys all over as Hunter was throwing things in the crib to make his brother happy. Very cute.....as soon as I confirmed that nothing had hit the baby's head! All in all, we are doing well. I am excited to show pictures as this blog hasn't let me upload pictures in so long!!! Maybe it will lead to more blogging in the future. :)

Kaiden introducing everyone to Rylan and holding him for the first time. He is so excited to have his little brother here.

What's in a name?

Well, we have finally named our new little guy.......Rylan James will be here around July 30th! Can't wait to meet him. He is named after his Uncle Derrick who's middle name is James. Rylan is a name that Melissa actually found and suggested. While we are still trying to get used to having another little guy in the house, it helps to have a name for him. :)

Drum Roll Please...

We had our ultrasound today! It was great to be able to see the baby moving all around. The doctor was able to give us the gender results....another boy! I think that I am destined to be outnumbered forever! haha I guess that I had myself convinced well enough that it was going to be a boy, but Kaiden was very unhappy and upset today since he had his heart set on a baby sister! He didn't really say much during the day, but I guess he told Jerry that the baby's name is Mr. Tim now. Not too sure about that one, but guess that we do have to think of a name for this little guy. Oh well, at least we have 20 more weeks to think of one!

Other than that mom and baby look good. He is measuring a week smaller than I am, but so did Kaiden...maybe this little guy will be smaller than Hunter was. :) He is currently 10 oz.

Now it's the waiting game!

It's Official!

We are officially announcing that Hunter will be a big brother this summer! We will be 13 weeks on Friday and so far everything is going well. We have had one very quick ultrasound to at least see the baby who was moving around frantically. :) We will be going back in January 29th to hopefully hear the heartbeat. I am due July 30th....not the greatest timing as Jerry will be gone for two weeks out of that month including the week that I am due. Oh well, must trust that God knew what He was doing! We will keep ya'll posted! :)

Catch up!

Hey all! It has certainly been forever since I have posted anything, but it is not for lack of trying. I have been unable to upload pictures for sometime now, but I finally decided to give up and at least update ya'll on the goings on here. We are looking forward to a lot this year. Kaiden will be turning 4! It is so hard to believe. I am hoping that with 4 comes a decrease in the whining, but I am not going to get my hopes up. :) Kaiden is enjoying preschool, once he is there at least. We are still working on the potty training at night...it could be a while. He loves to sing and dance and is obsessed with movies and electronics.
Hunter will be 2 this year! He is loving daycare which is a huge blessing for us as we were very hesitant to place him in it. His teachers are great and he has made some buddies that he runs around with all the time, of course causing trouble in the class! He is starting to show interest in the potty, but we are not pushing the issue yet. Some how I have a feeling he will be easier to potty train than Kaiden!
Jerry is finally done with his Master's and finished up this December. He is loving working at the church and is settling into his routine. He has a lot including IYC in Orlando this year and state youth camp which he will be directing! He has had some great opportunities this year and we are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for him and his ministry here at the church!
I am working as a substance abuse therapist at Pathways Behavioral Health. I am blessed to work with a great group of people who are amazing and supportive. I work with adolescents in a residential and outpatient program. My schedule is a little crazy at times, but we are adjusting to it. I an adjusting to being a pastor's wife. It can be challenging at times, but it helps to know that we are where God has called us to be.
We hope that all is going well with you guys. Hopefully we can figure out pictures sometime. The boys are getting so big! Hunter can easily tackle Kaiden and does whenever he can. :) Hope you all have a blessed new year!

St. James

We are officially here...we are trying to get settled.  We have had some huge blessings from those in the church and in the community.  I am hoping to get pictures posted soon but we still have no internet at home...I'm at the church now.  More to come later!  Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers throughout this process.  I do have some job interviews this week so continued prayer would be great!  Thanks!
